It was better than a typical Hampton Inn. The historic building and location in downtown is the main draw. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing local information. It was a great value that more than met our needs and expectations.

Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Just loved the huge variety of choices. The location of the facility was close to everywhere we were trying to visit. The room was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Everyone should visit the gym. It met our expectations and thank you for having towels available. Oh we just loved the history that is all over the hotel, great job.

The staff was very friendly, to include the front desk, the people working at the breakfast and the valets were awesome. They were all very friendly and very accommodating. My sister and I really enjoyed making waffles in the morning. It was a new adventure for us. And the staff checked on us every day to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. I always felt safe and welcomed.

Old property with a lot of character. I'm glad Hampton Inns is keeping it alive. Breakfast was pretty good for an American mid-level hotel, and it was included. I think the nice lady at the front desk upgraded me at check-in because I had a nice suite with a separate sitting room. The location was great for walking to meeting at the Regions Bank building.

Excellent variety of choices for breakfast - Wanda (she prepared everything) was super sweet and very attentive during breakfast. Rooms were nice for a historical hotel. Loved looking at all of the old pictures on the 1st, 2nd and 8th Floors given the significance of Birmingham to many industries in the 1900's.

The room was very spacious and the beds were quite comfortable. Having a tv in the living room was awesome. Breakfast was good, nice selection. We went down about 8 o’clock, may have been better if the food was a little fresher then.

Hotel with a history. Classy building. Carpet in the room was stained. Bed comfortable. Noisy first night (celebration in nearby partk), but wonderful after that. Close to BJCC where our meetings were.
